Biography

Bob, a long time bowler and bowling administrator, was elected into the Illinois Bowling Association Hall of Fame in 1990 for meritorious service to the sport. He is also a member of the Elgin Bowling Association Hall of Fame. Bob was past president of the IBA and a board member for 15 years prior to that. He was Administrator of the EBA for 35 years until 1990, holding the offices of assistant secretary (1955-1968), executive secretary (1968-1974) and executive  secretary/treasurer (1974-1990). In addition, he served two terms as president of the association, the state’s second largest, with 18,000 members encompassing 25 houses.
