Bill Chesbrough

Inducted 1986


Bill Chesbrough served as Elgin High School basketball coach from 1950—85. In 35 seasons his teams won 579 and lost 340, capturing nine conference titles. His cagers won 15 Christmas invitational tournaments, 21 regional, 10 sectional, three super-sectional titles, and placed second in the state finals in 1955. Bill was inducted into the Illinois Basketball Coaches' Hall of Fame in 1986.
