Biography

Vince Webber (LHS 1998) was a record setting and All-State fullback for Larkin's football team.  Webber played three seasons on the varsity, scoring 22 touchdowns, rushing for 954 yards and 10.1 yards per carry in his sophomore year.  In his junior year, Vince scored 32 touchdowns and gained 2032 yards rushing.  Despite missing half his senior season due to injuries, he scored 17 touchdowns and gained 1156 yards.  He set Larkin High records for single game rushing yards, career rushing yardage, and touchdowns (71), which ranks 6th in IHSA history.  Webber went on to play running back for three seasons at Central Michigan University, but saw his playing time limited due to injuries.
